Ralph Breaks the Internet is a sequel to Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph. The sequence was the creation of screenwriter Pamela Ribon, who previously co-wrote Moana. In a presentation at Disney Animation, she explained the origin of the sequence, which takes place as Vanellope – who has entered the internet with her best friend Ralph, in an attempt to buy a replace arcade cabinet part on eBay – is traveling to OhMyDisney.com to drum up publicity for Ralph’s viral videos.
